Indian Head Massage

What is Indian Head Massage?
Indian Head Massage has been practised in India for over 5000 years, it is based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing system.

Ayurvedic medicine is a holistic healing system, which combines natural therapies and strives to restore balance and inner harmony to the mind, body and spirit to improve the health of an individual.

Indian Head Massage is a very relaxing treatment and as the name suggests concentrates on massaging the head, neck and shoulders.

What Benefits can be Expected?
The neck and shoulders are important energy centres. When we are stressed or angry the tension accumulates in these areas leading to headaches, migraine and in some cases insomnia.
A firm but gentle massage will release blockages and so relieve the side effects of stress, calming the spirit and aiding relaxation.
It is especially effective with problems relating to sitting at a desk or computer for long hours.

Hopi Ear Candling

What are Hopi Ear Candles?

Hopi Ear Candles are hollow tubes traditionally made from organically grown flax and beeswax.
Ear Candles have a purely physical function. A light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the candle, generating a massage like effect on the eardrum.

What benefits can be expected?

The treatment is effective in the removal of built up wax and is much less invasive than conventional treatments.
Can also cause freer nasal breathing and an improved sense of smell, even when the nose was blocked up before the treatment.
The treatment induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and balance of ear pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses.
It is soothing and helpfull for earache, headache, ear noise, stress and nervousness.

After treatment the clients usually describe a soothing, liberating, light sensation in the ear and head area
